The French Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai incorporated solar PV on its roof and south façade to create an aesthetically pleasing green building. A standout feature was the Solar Art installation recreating Claude Monet’s “Water Lilies and Clouds” using custom-designed solar modules. The system was grid-connected under DEWA SHAMS and later demonstrated circular economy principles by being relocated and reused in Toulouse, France.
